Inspiration is a tribute album by guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, released in 1996 through Music for Nations (Europe) and Pony Canyon, Inc. (Japan), and reissued in 2000 through Spitfire Records; a remastered edition was reissued in 2003 through SPV GmbH. It consists entirely of covers of various bands who influenced Malmsteen.
